Ellis Island

Eventually

there had to be

a myth built up

about this too,

and that one was called

Ellis Island,

where all these migrants

were processed,

some with their names

changed forever,

which is the most common story

you will hear today,

but really,

this orderly, rational approach

is what most Americans think of

today,

and I'm sure it's as true

as any other story.
